Comment: The chair might not be as plush as the ones we've all enjoyed at the now defunct Sharper Image and Brookstone. Still, it does what it says it will do - provide a solid massage. A tad on the noisy side, but acceptable with others in the room, it is easy to operate - and the assembly was a 'piece of cake'. It even makes a decent chair for simply relaxing, without the massage unit turned on. A great buy for the price, and a very good buy if price isn't important to you.

Comment: I thought about buying this chair for quite a while. I have a peripheral neuropathy that tightens my muscles. I have to do exercises and stretches throughout the day in order to walk without support. This chair helps. I don't have to spend so much time on the floor exercising.
I read that it is difficult to put together and that the motors don't work. The directions for putting the chair together are very poor, but the diagram was good enough. It took me 20 minutes to unpack and put together. The motors work. They are not in the places indicated on the remote, but they do the job.
After using it daily for two weeks, I'm monitoring the remote. It doesn't always respond right away. This chair fits me very well. it's comfortable enough to sit in while watching TV. (I don't run the motors all evening, though. The complete cycle lasts about 15 minutes.) I am a small person, 105 pounds. I wonder how it would fit someone larger.
Swedish massage chairs hurt. This chair is just perfect, and I couldn't beat the price!
